The Untouchables

I don’t know about you but to me it seems the first 3 months of 2012 were rather trying times to live through.

Aside from the usual gang of idiots making our daily lives miserable like intolerant fanatical terrorists & financially clueless politicians, there were also these… weird events like mutant spider-worms, floods, free mp3 sites suddenly asking for $$$, earthquakes, file hosting sites changing policy after Megaupload was shut down & more recently blue goo falling from the sky.

But thankfully, throughout all of these world-ending scenarios there’s still a few things we can all count on.

You know, things we can hold on to when Life gets bad.

Things that stay the same no matter what.

Things like Apple for example.

It wasn’t too long ago that Mr Apple himself, God Steve Jobs, died because of his own stubborn ways but the company & its wonderful line o’ products are still around.

Now, I’m not talking about the expensive iPod & its battery life, the costly iPhone & its reception or the pricey iPad & its Wi-Fi connection.

I mean products like Apple computers which unlike PCs are virus proof.

So, you can no doubt imagine my utter shock to a recent report which claims a Trojan has infected hundreds of thousands of Macs worldwide.

This shock reaction of mine soon turned into laughther, the ROTFLMAO kind to be precise.

& I’ll type you why just after I catch my breath here for a second.

*phew !*

See, I’m big enough of a person to admit when I’ve been had & in all fairness, it was a pretty good joke because for a moment there I thought it was real.

…wait a second, today’s the 6th of April, not the 1st !!!

B-but if the report is totally true… that means “2012” has struck (yet) again & none of us are truly safe anymore !

With news like that it sure seems like we’ve got less & less left to hold on to, it’s all doom & gloom during this apocalyptic year.

Hmmm… then again, take into account the annoying smugness of Apple users & how this probably won’t change their attitude towards Apple… yay, instant relief.
