Mu On Mo #03 – Continuing Arc

With a certain chance of us all dying a horrible death some time during this apocalyptic year, it’s better to focus elsewhere.

& to soothe the soul, what’s better than a few tunes ?

Here’s some Music On Monday…

Hello & welcome to entry #03 !

After last week it appears I will no longer be alone during this musical odyssey I started on, for none other than “Monkey” will be there like a knight in shining armour along the way.

& that chivalrous offer led me to think about this week’s choice for Mu On Mo.

Since there’s no real plan I’m following, it’s sort of a quest.

& now that there’s a knight involved… well, that made me think of “holy”, which in turn made me think of only 1 song.

A song that got the following YouTube comment…

“great song from a great band. unfortunately, for some anyway, Andy McCluskey went on to create another Liverpool act, Atomic Kitten.”

Yes, apparently both “Atomic Kitten” & this next song were created by the very same fellow.

So how bad could it possibly be ?

…go on & find out because maybe you’ll enjoy the song.

From the 80’s, that was Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark – Maid Of Orleans (The Waltz Joan Of Arc).

See you another time for more Music On Monday.

…that’s if we’re still around.

There’s only one Liverpool act that really matters…
    made history…
    invented the game…
    created the genre…
    shaped the culture…

o yeah, and then there was this other little band

  3. Eluria Says:

    Sir Monkey !

Yeah, when it comes to Liverpool FGTH is Thé band obviously.

I’ve no idea who those other guys are though…

    I’m glad you agree.

Sometimes you’ll hear those so called experts say that ‘those other guys’ had a big influence on modern day music.
Which is, of course, total & utter bs.

I say: bring back the 80’s!
    When there was real music.
    & great hairstyles.

  5. Eluria Says:

    Aaah, the 80s !

With so many classic songs in such diverse music styles as New Wave, Synth Pop & Rap.

I dunno about the hair back then but it really was a great age for music…

So, I’m pretty sure there’ll be more 80s music in future Mu On Mo entries.
